Huff and Puff
I’m going to huff and puff and blow your house down. The wind was crazy this weekend! Thought for sue I was going to see Aunti Em and a witch on a bike screeming, “I’ll get you my pretty and your little dog too!”
The weekend went fast, and I was in a daze the whole time, felt like I was sleep walking or something. Maybe it was the weather. Saturday Jean Brand, Grandpa Joe’s “lady friend” and I went to lunch. It was fun, she had fun, and it was nice to chat with her. I brought her over to the Nelson’s garage sale, where Robert’s grandma Evelyn was home from hibernation in AZ. Evelyn and Jean seem to have a nice time chatting and getting to know each other. That evening we grilled burgers at Robert’s parent’s and had a laugh with his family around the dinner table.
Sunday, I took my mom to Hastings to meet Addison. She’s so funny now, even thought she’s only about 3 weeks old - funny faces and restless arms and legs. Mom had the magic touch, Addison loved laying on her tummy sprawled across mom’s lap. That evening Robert’s crew and I went to the IMAX showing of Spiderman 3. Cool action scences, but overall, the movie was kind blah. Ewh, Kristan Dunst sings!

Recharged
This was one of the best weekends I’ve had in ages! Went for a walk Friday night with my mom and then went to bed early. Saturday celebrated my mom’s 60th B-day, had lunch at Salut, shopped, then went for pedicures! Checkout the dress I scored at Anthropology, marked from $200 to $50! Holler. Went to dinner and movie (saw Hot Fuzz - Love that Simon Pegg) with my favorite boy. Sunday I got to see where Robert does his trap-shooting, pretty cool. I’ll work up the courage some day to shoot. Then went shopping at MOA - I must say Robert got some good stuff, he’ll be looking styling this spring/summer season. The best accessory (or as I like to call them “sassory”) is a well-dressed man!
Highlight of the weekend: Chewie playing with a beetle outside as we were grilling Sunday night - holy cow that was so funny and the cuteness factor was off the chart!
